Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Helper OR Journeyman electrician to join our team in the electrical construction industry. This role is essential for supporting our residential and commercial electricians on various projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, be comfortable working on construction sites, and have the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities • Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks effectively. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Support the team in adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work processes. • Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe working environment. • Participate in the installation of high voltage systems as required. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Requirements • Experience or familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred (not required). • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately (preferred not required). • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Basic knowledge of electrical principles and construction site practices. • Previous experience as a helper or in a related role within the electrical or construction field is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on job sites. • Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges. Pay • Based on experience. Journeyman pay is listed as maximum listed. • 10-99 at end of year.
