Position: Industrial / Commercial Electrician (2nd Shift) - 23156 Overview We are seeking an Industrial / Commercial Electrician for assignment in Greensburg, Indiana. The selected candidate will support the Facility Maintenance Team in the preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus, and other plant devices. Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm • * This is a 2nd Shift position ** • * This position requires successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduation from a certified technical school ** Responsibilities • Ability to read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes. • Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment; connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment; connects cables and wires between machines and equipment. • Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses. • Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components. • Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and position sensing devices. • Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. • Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork. • Performs preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment.Qualifications • A valid Driver's License. • Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduation from a certified technical school. • 5+ years of experience in an industrial or commercial environment. • Well-versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers, and amp-probes. • Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC / BMS controls is highly preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
