Position: Industrial / Commercial Electrician (2nd Shift) - 23437 Overview We are seeking a Industrial / Commercial Electrician for assignment in Greensburg, Indiana. The selected candidate will support the Facility Maintenance Team in the preventative, corrective and general maintenance of facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus and other plant devices. Hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm • * This is a 2nd Shift position ** • * This position requires successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical school ** Responsibilities - Perform equipment checks & PMs - Start/Stop, troubleshoot, repair and maintain FAC equipment - Read and understand system blueprints, specifications and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts or pipes - Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment; Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment; Connects cables and wires between machines and equipment - Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables and fuses - Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components - Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors and position sensing devices - Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in buildings - Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork - Performs preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipment Qualifications - A valid Drivers License - Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical school - 5+ years experience in an industrial or commercial environment - Experience with high voltage switches, substations, busway and bus plugs, MCC, transformers, breakers, panels, disconnects - Well versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers and amp-probes - Experience with both single phase and three phase - Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives and PLC / BMS controls is highly preferred #IND #J-18808-Ljbffr

Trained on NFPA 70E, Aerial Lift / Boom lift Certified. Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC / BMS controls. Ability to read complex wiring diagrams, identify electrical components, and extensive troubleshooting knowledge. Must be well-versed in using voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers, and amp-probes. Uses guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations, and standard practices. Wears PPE and ARC Flash equipment during live troubleshooting evolutions.
