Job Duties: • Tech development for self-sinter solder • Running lab experiments in support of mission critical tasks • Writing and evaluating technical reports • Assisting the lab manager in overseeing the local lab Qualifications Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree. Required Skills: • Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical drawings along with their associated system level technical data package (TDP). • Experience with reliability testing execution and analysis (thermal cycling, thermal shock, mechanical shock and vibration) • Familiarity with System Engineering concepts. • Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan, and report status. • US Citizenship required. Desired Skills: • Comprehensive understanding of all phases of PCB production including bare board fabrication, assembly, and qualification • PCB design with Mentor Graphics PADS Layout, Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer, Altium, or Eagle. • Developing and executing test plans for printed circuit card assemblies SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. · Safely install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components within the manufacturing plant. · Maintain, test and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems. · Develop skill set to troubleshoot advanced control system and instrumentation equipment including PLC controls. · Interpret and use wiring schematics. · Operate electrical test equipment inherent to the job. · Know and understand NEC codes, become trained in NFPA-70E, and practice all other electrician duties in a manufacturing environment Qualifications & Requirements: · Must have the desired technical skills to safely and proficiently work as an electrician in a plant setting. · Possess basic mechanical maintenance skills. · Ability to interpret and perform tasks as detailed on printed work orders. · Basic computer skills needed to complete safety training and review work-related email. · Ability to operate equipment as needed, including forklifts, etc. · Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them. · Good collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team.
