Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our high-speed production systems, including blow mold equipment, conveyor systems, palletizing and strapping machines, and facility-wide electrical installations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain detailed service records • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, including: • Conveyor systems • Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment • Compressors, chillers, and cooling towers • Install and repair electrical components such as wiring, switch boxes, lighting fixtures, and cable assemblies • Utilize electrical testing equipment to measure continuity, voltage, current, and resistance • Maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control systems • Read and modify ladder logic; configure parameters in VFDs, air compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems • Collaborate with and train production staff on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong troubleshooting skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems • Proficient in reading schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals • Intermediate knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic • Experience with Rockwell Automation (RS Logix 5000/500) and Siemens (TIA Portal, Simatic Manager) preferred • Skilled in operating shop tools and equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, grinders, presses, etc.) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills What We Offer: • Stable first-shift schedule with weekends off • Clean, climate-controlled work environment • Opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies • Supportive team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, IN.
