Specific Responsibilities And Essential Functions • Install, service, and repair SSL and PSL machinery at customer locations. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment failures via phone support and on-site visits. • Provide customer training on equipment operation. • Conduct testing and root cause analysis to ensure effective problem-solving. • Provide technical feedback to improve products. • Complete preventative maintenance and functional inspections. • Maintain service logs and internal records in accordance with American Fuji Technical Services policies. • Follow Health and Human Services, Environmental Health, and Safety requirements. • Perform additional duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner. Competencies And Qualifications • Strong electrical and mechanical background with the ability to read blueprints and electrical documentation. • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization. • Ability to manage tasks and projects with minimal guidance. • Willingness and ability to travel 80-100%, with flexibility for weekday and weekend travel. • Ability to train on-site for 3-6 months before traveling independently Preferred Qualifications • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell & Siemens) and networking. • Familiarity with packaging equipment. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or field service role. • Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required. Education And Experience • Associate degree in a related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation) required. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred. • 3-5 years of related experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support. Physical Demands • Sitting, walking, climbing, and standing required. • Lifting up to 50 pounds, along with pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required. • Close visual activity required to operate machines and view documents. • Exposure to noise, physical hazards, and working in close quarters.
