Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician We are looking for an Off-Shift Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. This role focuses on industrial maintenance and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities • Read and modify Ladder Logic using Allen-Bradley systems. • Perform industrial maintenance (1+ years experience or equivalent military training). • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting up to 24 volts. • Use a meter for diagnostics and perform routine maintenance tasks like replacing cylinders, airlines, motors, and wiring switches. • Tackle complex projects, including PLC troubleshooting, fabrication, and high-pressure problem-solving. Required Skills & Qualifications • Ladder Logic reading and modifications. • Experience with Allen-Bradley systems. • Industrial or military maintenance experience. • Hydraulic and pneumatic system expertise. • Basic electrical troubleshooting (up to 24 volts). • Ability to read and use a meter. • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, motors, robotics, and preventive maintenance. Work Environment & Schedule This role is in a 3-shift automotive seat manufacturing facility, operating robotic welders across 15 production lines. We have four openings on a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift (5:30 PM – 5:30 AM). Flexibility to work weekends and up to 60 hours per week is required. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with a variety of electrical systems and equipment, focusing on troubleshooting and repair to maintain optimal performance and safety in our operations. Key responsibilities will include diagnosing issues with VFDs, PLCs, soft start equipment, motor starters, and motors up to 450 HP. The technician will also be responsible for lighting control systems and general machine and equipment repair. A strong expertise in 480 volt 3-phase systems is essential for this role.
