Maintenance Electrician Class III

The Maintenance Electrician's (Class III Electrician& Instrumentation) position includes, but is not limited to the following: 1.Designing and sizing industrial motor and control circuits and components. 2.The ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits. 3.Testing and repair of electrical equipment and devices. 4.Installing electrical systems according to applicable codes and regulations. 5.Preparing and updating schematics and other drawings for new and existing installations and the ability to run conduit. 6.The ability to give recommendations on the resolution of ongoing problems. Furthermore, must meet the below requirements: 2-year technical degree in the electrical and/or instrumentation field, a Journeyman's card or a minimum or two years' experience as an industrial electrician and/or instrument technician. Electrical Engineer

Company: Buitoni Food Company Position Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Danville, VA To be successful as an electrical project engineer, you should possess an analytical mind and a high aptitude for problem solving. Job Responsibilities: • Assists project engineers and others as assigned to test and evaluate equipment being considered for purchase and/or installation. • Responsible for calibration program on all instrumentation. • Assist and support the engineering and IT departments in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and other manufacturing software and hardware systems for plant floor operations. • Work with the IT department on maintenance and troubleshooting of programs and interfaces between the equipment on the plant floor and the IT equipment. • Support supervisors in managing training needs: by developing, writing, and delivering procedures as needed. • Hands-on problem-solving, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance that will improve reliability, productivity, and decrease downtime on existing or new equipment with a focus on electrical and automation. • Ability to understand/update technical drawings (P&IDs) and general electrical power distribution. • Discover new ways to increase plant efficiency and output through improvement opportunities. • Creating a scope and leading small improvement projects, such as re-wiring/replacing panels, pulling wire, and installing new automation equipment. • Backup to the E&A engineer during vacations and/or off-shift situations. • Support and needs for building management and security systems. • Work with others to development and maintain upkeep of preventative and predictive maintenance procedures in the systems and calibration areas. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably electrical engineering. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of electricity in a manufacturing facility. • In-depth knowledge of electricity, in low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage installations. • Good knowledge of local electrical code and standards • Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control Systems In-depth knowledge of HMIs, PLCs Knowledge of food processing operations and technology • Knowledge on MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Knowledge on manufacturing IT, industrial networks, and applications • Good knowledge of electrical safety knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety, hygienic engineering • Hands-on knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI, drives and programming tools, with an emphasis in ControlLogix. • Proficient with electrical troubleshooting and installation including AC/DC power (Up to 480V), wiring, drives, motors, relays, power supplies, fuses/breakers, and using an electrical meter. • Good working knowledge of the Windows operating system and all the major components of the Microsoft Office package. • Calibration experience is preferred. • AutoCAD experience is preferred. Salary Range: $100K - $120K
