This is a full-time, salaried foreman position with competitive pay, leadership responsibility, and travel opportunities throughout the Southeast. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and licensed electrician with a strong background in EV charging stations, industrial, or commercial electrical work. The ideal candidate will take on a foreman role, overseeing our electrical crews and ensuring quality installation and compliance on job sites across our service regions. BGS is searching for a F15E Modification Electrician to join the team in Seymour Johnson, NC. This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities: • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. • Oversees training. • Works under general direction Electrical Technician: • Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring. • Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses. • Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes. • Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair. • Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring. • Uses technical data to diagnose and address maintenance problems on aircraft systems. • Interprets and advises on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment. • Solves problems and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. • Removes and installs aircraft components. • Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. • Adjusts, aligns, and rigs aircraft systems. • Supervises and performs aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations. • Performs aircraft and component operational checks. • Interprets inspection findings and resolves adequacy of corrective actions. • Inspects and checks components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation. • Inspects and operates powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment. • Inspects and identifies aircraft corrosion for prevention and repair. • Reviews maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports to ensure complete documentation. Inventories and maintains aircraft equipment. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years experience in military aircraft maintenance and/or modification Preferred Qualifications: • Electrical military modification experience • Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).
