This team provides engineering support for the corporation’s manufacturing, distribution, sales, and administrative facilities. The department provides feasibility studies, high-level budgets, project development, detailed cost estimates, engineering, design, project management, consulting, and CAD services. This position is primarily responsible and accountable for project development, design, and execution, with a secondary focus on technical support for manufacturing facilities. Work is often multi-disciplined and requires close coordination with manufacturing management, other corporate departments, and outside agencies. Responsibilities Project Development and Administration • Develop and execute capital and expensed projects, sometimes large and complex, with detailed scopes of work, detailed schedules, and appropriations-grade budgets. • Maintain project files and publish periodic project reports. Familiar with 4,160V and 12,470V distribution systems and equipment, with a working knowledge of their operation, safety requirements, and system integration. • Possess strong working knowledge of and adheres to the requirements of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace), NFPA 70B (Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance), and NESC/ANSI C2 (National Electric Safety Code).
