As a PLC Electrical Technician, your proactive approach will be essential in identifying and preventing potential issues. You will also share your expertise in safety protocols and compliance to promote a safer workplace. Key Responsibilities Include: • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety policies, GMP, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards. • Equipment Maintenance: Install and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, including motors, controls, PLCs, AC/DC drives, and computerized systems. • Troubleshooting: Quickly and effectively troubleshoot PLC programs and electrical circuits to minimize downtime. • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance on various electrical equipment. • Controls Consulting: Act as a consultant for electrical and electronic controls for both new and existing equipment installations. We are Seeking Candidates Who: • Possess extensive knowledge and experience in electricity and electronics. • Have completed a 4-year apprenticeship, hold a 2-year Associate Degree in electrical technology, or have relevant industrial experience. • Are skilled in troubleshooting PLC programs and hardware. • Have experience with Allen-Bradley RS Logix software and HMI controls. • Are familiar with the National Electric Code. • Can read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and computer programs. • Are able to operate various types of electrical test equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
