Are you someone who owns their own business? Are you tired of chasing down leads? Spending your own out of pocket money to advertise or try to figure out SEO, Facebook ads, websites, and other marketing tools? Would you like to stay in your craft but only work part time? If so….we may be who you are looking for. We are a family-owned business who provides maintenance services for homeowners across the Southeast. We get the business, and all you need to do is accept and do the work you love. We provide the software (desktop and mobile app) for the job tracking, assist in scheduling appointments with the tenant or homeowner, and have a “market manager” who assists on the office side project management of the work orders. You complete the work assigned, update the work order with job notes and photos, and your work order record is your invoice, so there isn’t even any paperwork to do after you finish! We service thousands of homes throughout the Southeast U.S.A. for a variety of maintenance, repair, renovation and rental unit turn needs. We are growing and adding to our team of skilled Pros in some of our areas. If you are a licensed electrician and carry general liability insurance, workers comp (or can submit a worker’s comp exemption form if you work alone), auto insurance and can provide three professional references who can verify your work ethic and experience, we would like to talk with you. We do also require a background check as many homes are occupied. We have a steady flow of electrical repair work orders that can vary in complexity and nature. Many times, electrical issues are combined with drywall repair or another issue. If you are willing to do those “supplemental” items when you fix the electrical issue, you will be kept as busy as you want to be! Our ideal candidate can handle all, or at least most, of these issues. However, the following are things you must be able to do: • Conduct maintenance checks and inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot reported shorts, damaged circuit breakers and other issues; recommend and make needed repairs. If repairs would not be economically prudent, or parts are no longer available, Install new parts and/or equipment. • Perform emergency repairs and respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner • Maintain accurate records and photos of all work performed and parts used. • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing using a phone, laptop, or other method with our team. • Work both independently and as part of a team • You must have the necessary knowledge, tools, and equipment to perform diagnostic testing at each site visit to correctly assess and diagnose the situation. You decide how far you want to drive to perform service calls. We prefer you spend your time on actual jobs, not on the highway, so we will ask you to list the zip codes that are near your home, where it makes sense for you to perform work. From work completion to pay date is 1 month, but we do pay weekly, so you will have consistent weekly pay coming in for working on a regular schedule with us.
