This particular project will be medium size commercial work, at various Dollar General locations throughout Alabama. Work will include, terminations, lighting, wire pulling, and running/bending conduit. You MUST be licensed in the state of ALABAMA to be considered for the position. Responsibilities: For Journeyman Electricians: • Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards. • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to apprentice electricians. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address problems. • Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites. Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary. For Apprentice Electricians: • Learning and Development: Assist Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge. • Blueprints and Documentation: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed. • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Report potential hazards and actively participate in creating a safe work environment. Qualifications: For Journeyman Electricians: • Valid Journeyman Electrician license and Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and leadership abilities. For Apprentice Electricians: • Valid Apprentice license and proven experience as an Apprentice Electrician. • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components. • Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success. • Commitment to safety and following guidelines. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certifications: • Valid Electrical license REQUIRED.
