Summary The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. This role ensures that all electrical and mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Key Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, motors, control panels, and lighting systems. • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in machinery and equipment • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Perform adjustments and alignments on various mechanical components. • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment. • Diagnose electrical issues using test equipment and diagnostic tools. • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns. • Analyze and resolve electrical problems in a timely manner. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. • Update and modify electrical schematics as necessary. • Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless operations. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to processes or equipment.
