Responsibilities • Accountability for the area of responsibility (Safety, Housekeeping & Personnel) • Make sure floors are free of trash, fiber, spin finish, etc. • Make sure all positions are wiped down. • Check tube labels for correct color and lot number. • Check PSC set points versus spec sheets. • Make tension checks at least one time per shift • Make sure tubes, cardboard trays and dividers are available & stored properly always • Make sure trays are taped properly • Make sure the correct number and dividers are used for each yarn type. • Make sure all tubes have the correct labels • Make sure all case tickets have the correct labels on them. • Make sure thread path are correct • Make sure godets have the correct number of wraps. • Make sure the priority is getting threaded lines on the winder; doffing is second priority. • Inspect 972 tubes and correct process causing a defect.
