See More Details >>POSITION SUMMARY: The Electrician will provide electrical support to the Extrusion Department regarding equipment troubleshooting, electrical device installation, new equipment installation, and process improvements. The Electrician will work in conjunction with the maintenance, production, and engineering departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of equipment and/or processes through the effective use of electrical theory, meters, equipment manuals and schematics, and any other resource(s) available. • Troubleshoot motors, controllers, and advanced motor controls, such as VFD's, technical sensors, lasers, and situation monitors. • Assist the maintenance staff in operational debug of machine controllers, motors, motor controls, sensors, and all other related components in a timely and efficient manner utilizing Tarkett standard techniques and approach. • Communicate with the project "team" to ensure a constant level of project awareness. • Collaborate with the controls engineer and/or controls technician, who is responsible for ensuring all schematics and/or backup programs of PLC's, HMI, camera systems, etc, are kept current and correct. • Other duties as directed by the supervisor.
