Electrician

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of Community Club facilities under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Report to and assist the Facilities Manager with various tasks. • Perform interior and exterior building repairs. • Perform electrical work above the scope of normal Technicians ability. • Pull electrical permits and oversee jobs requiring electrical work. • Read and interpret electrical schematics. • Troubleshoot and repairs plumbing problems. • Perform preventative maintenance on all building systems as scheduled. • Identify maintenance needs regarding the buildings and other facilities and keep management informed. • Troubleshoot reported maintenance problems and recommends corrective action if not within the scope of our capability. • Plans and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction. • Provides accurate time and material reports for accounting purposes. • Review SDS sheets regularly to be aware of chemicals associated with this position. • Help Manager set up an electrical safety and training program. • Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma or GED • HVAC Repair and Electrical Troubleshooting Experience • Customer Service Experience REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES • Valid TN Driver’s License • Valid Electrical License. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Walking and standing for extended periods of time. • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time (more with assistance) HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE Our goal is to provide excellent guest service to our members, guests, team members and vendors at all times.
