All tasks require a submitted work order. • Regularly check the work order system throughout the shift. Daily Responsibilities: • Respond to submitted work orders. • Inspect ground indicators on switchgears No. 1, 2, and 3. • Tag failed motors and electronics with relevant info; place in designated repair area. • Perform routine checks (compressed air dryers, boilers, motors). • Order replacement parts as necessary. • Repair/change ballast and lamp holders on fixtures. • Monitor and record motor amperage as needed. • Inspect all outside lighting. • Clean and maintain the switchgear room. As-Needed Responsibilities: • Install additional switches and circuits as approved by the Engineering Services Manager (ESM). • Address lighting-related work orders. • Assist in inspecting fire protection systems. • Check grounding on motors. • Clean equipment and panels as assigned. • Perform other duties as directed by the ESM or Engineering Services Engineer. • Qualified technicians may also be assigned environmental duties based on training and skill level.
