Electricians and Top Helpers (commercial work)

H. R. Allen, Inc. is an experienced electrical and mechanical contractor serving customers in South Carolina and other southeastern states for over 40 years. We have four office locations in South Carolina to include; Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Conway. Our Charleston, SC office is looking to hire a few experienced Commercial Electricians and Top Helpers to join our staff to work on projects in the Charleston, SC area. We currently have several projects in the Charleston, SC area. When that project ends, we move to the next one. Many of the projects we work on are new commercial construction, ground up projects and up-fits. We are looking for candidates that are ready to work and plan on working each day. Electricians should have at least 3 years of previous electrical experience on commercial projects. Must also be able to read blue prints. Top Helpers should have at least 2 years of experience working with conduit and pulling wire. We are looking for local candidates to the Charleston, SC area as we are not paying per diem. Essential Functions of Electricians: • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of basic electrical theory. • Install required wiring and devices. • Troubleshoot installation and operation of electrical wiring and devices. • Installs, repairs and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulations. • Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions. • Studies plans, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations. • Repairs and maintains high voltage systems. • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Functions of Top Helpers: • Terminate junction boxes. • Install required conduit and wiring including branch and feeder, above and below ground. • Install fixture connections and rough-ins. • Under supervision of the Foreman or an Electrician, operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions. • Demonstrates basic knowledge of plans, drawings, specifications and work orders. • Other non-technical tasks as assigned. • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Electrical Journeyman

JOB ORDER: Commercial Electricians – Data Center Expansion Location: Moncks Corner, SC Start Date: Mid September Duration: 2-Year Assignment Schedule: 4x10s & 2x8s (Monday – Saturday) | Overtime Available Hiring: Journeyman & High-Level Apprentice Electricians We are seeking qualified Journeyman and high-level Apprentice Electricians to join a large-scale expansion of a Data Center campus. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile project involving state-of-the-art infrastructure.
