Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. This role is essential for overseeing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on various projects, particularly in construction settings. The Lead Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards while leading a team of electricians to achieve project goals efficiently. Duties • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. • Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks such as wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems using voltmeters and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with NEC standards. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to plan and execute renovations or new builds effectively. • Train junior electricians on best practices, safety measures, and technical skills necessary for successful project completion. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during projects.
