Commercial Electrician (Journeyman & Apprentice)

About the Role Strategic Partner Solutions (SPS) is seeking skilled Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to support upcoming Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) projects in South Carolina. These are modular medical construction projects requiring precision, safety, and reliability — ideal for electricians with healthcare or urgent-care facility experience. You’ll assist in all phases of installation, from underground to trim-out, including slab rough-in, site lighting, and power/communications utilities, followed by interior electrical stitch work after modular set. Key Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and healthcare environments. • Perform conduit bending (¾″–2″ EMT/Rigid) and wire pulling for power and lighting circuits. • Install and terminate switchgear, panels, transformers, and disconnects. • Follow and enforce LOTO (Lock-Out Tag-Out) and other safety procedures. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications. • Troubleshoot circuits, motors, and control systems to isolate faults and perform repairs. • Inspect and maintain electrical distribution and medical alarm systems. • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet daily goals. • Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with all OSHA and company safety standards. Qualifications Journeyman Electrician: • 5+ years of commercial electrical experience (healthcare preferred). • Proven skill in conduit bending, switchgear installation, and panel terminations. • Strong blueprint reading and layout ability. • Familiarity with modular or healthcare facility wiring is a major plus. • OSHA-10 required (can be completed prior to start). Apprentice Electrician: • 1–3 years of commercial electrical experience. • Understanding of basic wiring, conduit bending, and electrical safety. • Willingness to learn and work under licensed journeymen. • Reliable transportation and hand tools required. ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT Myrtle Beach, SC area Healthcare / Hospital Experience Position Summary Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise personnel as well as activities concerned with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and components. Electrician This is a direct hire position that is operated on first shift Monday through Friday. Benefits: Monday - Friday schedule from 7:30am -4:00pm with opportunity for overtime.
