Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues in relation to electrical problems and installations • Offer recommendations on repairs/replacements • Perform repairs/replacement of electrical related items such as: • Switches /Receptacles • Circuit wiring • Breakers • Breaker /fuse panels • Electrical service metering equipment • Perform routine maintenance inspections • Access areas of the building being serviced, such as, but not limited to crawl spaces and attic areas • Proficiently use tools necessary to perform necessary tasks, such as meters, power tools, hand tools, and ladders • Maintain necessary stock levels, tools, and equipment in company-provided vehicle • Adhere to state and local building regulations • Set up and test computer systems by running cales and connecting computer jacks and plugs Qualifications and Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical or related field is a plus. • Relevant certifications, such as electrician's license, generator technician certification, or similar credentials. • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, including circuitry and wiring. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics. • Hands-on experience with electrical connections, wiring, and load calculations. • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members. • Physical capability to lift moderate loads and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
