LEAD ELECTRICIANS - COMMERCIAL - FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT Shaffer's Electrical Contracting, Inc. is in Sanford, Florida, about 25 miles north of Orlando. The Company is seeking full-time experienced Lead Electricians. The Lead Electrician will perform duties in running small to medium-sized commercial projects, i.e., running conduit, installation of electrical services, troubleshooting, and performing service calls. Minimum Qualifications: · 5 plus years of electrical experience in commercial type of settings, functioning in a Lead capacity. · A high school diploma or equivalent. · Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by Company’s insurance carrier. · Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, maintenance, and repair. · Ability to work independently or as part of a team. · Must have basic hand tools and cordless drill tools. · Perform job duties as assigned by management. Preferred Qualifications: Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent, installing air compressors and compressed air lines, motor controls, installation of large commercial ceiling fans, assembling equipment, installing structured cabling (Internet & Telephone) and commercial building and maintenance. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred. • Must have at least 2 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience. • Must be able to install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local and NEC codes. • Must possess own hand tools and power tools to execute electrical jobs. • A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
