Position Summary: The electrician helper will work under the supervision of a lead electrician, and will be expected to perform the duties, tasks, and responsibilities shown in the job description while following all safety protocols. Key Responsibilities • Layout of electrical per plans and local codes • Insure all electric is installed per plan and code • Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done • Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical • Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems • Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets • Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections • Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications • Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly Weekly Gross Average per Hour Rougher Average $1,816.15 $40.35 Trimmer Average $1,412.40 $35.05 Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • 2 plus years’ experience in Residential electrical construction • Clean driving history • Poses and maintain required tools • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen • High school diploma or equivalent Benefits • Health, Vision and Dental plans • Free Tele-Doc Coverage for entire household • Life, Critical Care, ST Disability and Hospital Indemnity Insurance available. • 9 Paid holidays and vacation that increases with tenure • Company holiday party and regular branch celebrations • 401k plan with Employer match • We promote from within Sign on Bonus: • Must have 2 year's experience working for an electrical contractor. • Must work for Lenhart Electric Powered by In Charge for 90 days from hire date without any absences. • Cannot be a Lenhart Electric Powered by In Charge contract or temporary employee. • Cannot transfer from another Lenhart Electric Powered by In Charge location. • Once hired and your eligibility has been completed you will be paid out $1,200.00. • Sign on Bonuses are normally paid on the first full pay period after the qualification period has ended. Applicable taxes will be withheld. • The new hire employee must be an employee of Lenhart Electric Powered by In Charge at the time the bonus payment is due. An employee on leave or temporary disability at the time the bonus is due will have any bonus payment deferred until the employee return from the leave of absence.
