NEC is a minimum safety standard, not a quality standard. • Is comfortable delegating work to an apprentice. • Assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies to securely complete a project • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc. • Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting and electrical systems. • Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.) • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Setting Description: • Health care facility, a commercial kitchen, an office space, and medical facilities, • Condominiums and apartments. • Single-family homes. • Docks, marinas, golf courses, and clubhouses, JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Clean criminal background check. • Neat and professional appearance. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Fluent English is a plus, Basic English is required (Hablamos español) • Proven experience as an electrician • Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems • Knowledge in low voltage and high voltage installations. • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints • National Electric Code knowledge • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts WHAT WE OFFER: • (5) Vacation days after 6 months of service • (6) Paid Holidays after 120 Days. • Opportunities for advancement. • New & Newer, clean, well-stocked service vans • Consistent full-time work.
