This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities for Industrial Electrician: • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in industrial machinery. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. • Install and maintain wiring, control panels, motors, and automation systems. • Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records. • Respond to emergency breakdowns to support production needs. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. • Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. • Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves • Must have standard electrical hand tools. Qualifications: • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (electrical and mechanical). • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment. • Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems. • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings. • Familiarity with CMMS software a plus. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
