We are seeking top-notch working foremen, and journeyman carpenters with at least 4 years' experience in residential frame and finish carpentry. Must be physically capable of lifting lumber, framing and finishing work on the job site. Required to have a basic compliment of tools as outlined by S. R. Freeman, Inc. Must be able to read a tape measure and measure accurately Must be able to read and understand basic blue print reading. Must have a valid and current California Driver’s license and be insurable. Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Must have excellent eyesight and depth perception. Must have the ability to lift, move and handle awkward lumber. Must be able to work from heights above 20 feet using ladders and or scaffolding. Must be capable of working and moving around elevated framing members. QUALIFICATIONS: Completes work as assigned by Carpenter Foreman. Uses and maintains equipment and hand tools both his own and those assigned to the project. Job site roll out and clean up Cutting and handling raw lumber for use in framing Constructing floor, wall and roof systems typical of custom residential projects. Building and sheeting the interior and exterior walls. May be required to dig ditches, do minor electrical or plumbing. Prepare concrete forms and pour concrete foundations. Layout and frame walls. Install headers. Install mudsills Floor joist layout Knows how to frame doors and windows. Installs ceiling joists Knows how to build forms Understands and can build stairs with Journeyman’s assistance Knows basic roof framing Able to properly use Skilsaw and Sawzall Uses a level Learns how to install girders and floor joists Obeys all safety rules and regulations. Obeys all company policies and procedures Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers. Performs any other duties and tasks as may be assigned time to time by the Carpenter Foreman. Lead Finish Carpenter

Primary Function: Under the direction of the Site Superintendent, the Lead Finish Carpenter is responsible for assisting in job construction including finish carpentry, managing field labor and materials, jobsite safety, and accurately track time. Major Responsibilities: • 15 years experience in finish carpentry • Able to install complex finish details in a timely manner • Able to install complex crown in a timely manner • Make sure framing layout is per plan and Super's layout • Able to install finish carpentry in a timely manner • Direct Carpenters, apprentices, and or Laborer to complete tasks within a specified time frame • Work with Foreman to ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, material and labor are available to keep job running smoothly • Inventory materials when received on job site • Job site clean up and lock up • Accurately track time and tags daily • Manage the schedule • Manage the budget by hours worked • Manage the team • Have 100% safety standards on all jobsites Skills, Qualifications and Knowledge: • 15 years experience as carpenter, min 15 years in construction • Proficient use of all tools per Mid-level Carpenter requirements • Router, chop saw, finish carpentry tools • Able to plumb, line and square framing • Layout with laser for level, square, and grades • Window installation with Company Waterproofing Procedure • Door installation • Competent at trim out • Ability to work independently • Able to complete task list in the order given • Basic plan reading ability, identify measurements, layout, ability to use a scale and identify basic scope of work. • Able to communicate with Lead Carpenter and Foreman • Phone, paper and verbal • Basic knowledge of other trades • Must be able to read, write and speak English (Spanish is an asset) • Clean DMV record and valid Drivers license • Must provide own hand tools, tool bags per attached • Must provide own transportation to and from jobsite • Must know when shoring is required Company DescriptionAGC and 415 Remodeling are both high end construction companies that do very high end work.
