Journeyperson Carpenter

Our Journeyman Carpenter will provide our clients with the high-quality work they have come to expect from FORMA while providing support for our more junior employees. Responsibilities: • Review & interpret blueprints. • Fabricate and cut wood components. • Understand wood framing procedures & techniques. • Window and door frame installation. • Assess and repair wood structures. • Understand trim and finishing procedures & techniques. • Work on multi-day tasks independently. • Oversee and train apprentices and laborers on tasks assigned. • Ensure tools & equipment are clean, well maintained, and stored properly. • Other tasks as assigned Requirements: • 5+ years construction experience preferably on high-end projects. • Punctuality and a professional demeanor. • Ability to read, interpret, and follow plans. • A basic understanding of engineering requirements. • Strong leadership & communication skills. • Have your own basic tools needed for carpentry work. • Able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team in the restoration industry.
