We’re looking for a detail-oriented carpenter to work on a variety of construction projects both residential and commercial developments and customers. To ensure success as a carpenter, you should be able to interpret architectural blueprints, rough framing, finish carpentry, window installation, siding, concrete, and ramp forms. Experience with painting, electrical, and plumbing a plus. Carpenter Responsibilities: · Determining the type and amount of material required for each project. · Transporting the materials and equipment to each work site. · Constructing wooden structures such as concrete forms, frameworks, scaffolding, furniture, and similar elements. · Installing wooden structures such as frames, stairways, rafters, furniture, and partitions. · Inspecting the integrity of structures upon their installation. · Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies, as needed. · Complying with all applicable safety regulations. Requirements: · Proficient understand of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. · Good math and problem-solving skills. · Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment with an ability to operate skill saw, chop saw, tile saw, reciprocating saw, drills, nail guns. · Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English (bilingual a plus). · Outstanding critical thinking skills. · Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and rigging.
