Job Summary Seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry and construction techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed to high standards of quality and safety. Most of our work is performed on multi-family structures, apartments and duplexes. Duties • Must be fluent in english • Show up on time and leave on time • Work safely • Work efficiently • Clean DMV for driving company vehicles • Pull and operate a dump trailer • Be honest. Don't hide your mistakes. Things happen just let us know. • Construct, install, and repair structures such as balconies, walls, floors, and roof structures using wood and other materials. • Siding and trim replacement • Minor painting of installed materials • Proper installation of water proofing items, caulking, flashing's etc.. • Balcony construction from ground up (per blueprints & specs) • Concrete installation (small pads and footings for balconies) • Interact with inspectors for project inspections during construction • Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Lift heavy materials as required for construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Leaving the site clean at the end of the day is mandatory on our sites. • Create material and hardware list for projects • Communicate with supervisor about projects • Keep supervisor informed on items you‘re almost out of or what items you may need ordered for upcoming work to keep job moving Qualifications • Clean driving record for potentially driving company vehicles. • Experience pulling and operating a dump trailer. • Proven experience as a Carpenter with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques. • Proficiency framing & carpentry.
