Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. This role involves working on diverse projects, contributing to the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities • Perform a variety of construction tasks in various locations both inside and outside and in differrent weather conditions. • Assist in plumbing, siding, flooring, framing and various other general maintenance tasks. • Engage in concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures. • Fabricate wooden structures and components according to project specifications. • Carry out construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. • Show up when and where scheduled. Operate a time tracking device and communicate clearly • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are properly stored after use. Skills • At a minimum must have basic carpentry skills with basic plumbing and electrical a plus. • Physical capability for heavy lifting and sustained periods of standing or moving. • Experience with installation tasks across various materials including wood, drywall, plumbing and more. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • must be able to safely and LEGALLY operate a motor vehicle. Functional knowledge of standard transmission is a plus. • must be able and willing to enter and work in small spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. • must be able to work without constant supervision as needed.
