Job Description A Skilled Carpenter should be skilled in a variety of tasks related to the company needed core competencies. This includes, but is not limited to, framing, trim carpentry, tile, flooring, electrical, plumbing, concrete, site work, etc. This team member must have at least 5 years of hands on construction experience, and must be able to demonstrate prior experience and basic construction skill sets. This team member is also required to have an interest in learning more residential construction skills and must commit to being reliable and teachable. Many tasks appointed will be minimally supervised, and this team member should be able to work independently on many tasks, and trainable to increase their knowledge and skill in performing more advanced tasks. This team member will also be held responsible for completing and taking ownership of the tasks assigned to them, and may also be responsible for leading and teaching Field Crew 1 & Field Crew 2 team members on the company core competencies. Typical Tasks Include (but not limited to): Responsibilities include the following: setting up and preparing the job site each day, helping Superintendent and Project Manager ensure that all tools and needed materials are on site each day, following the scope of work and completing Scope Related tasks, following plans and specifications, troubleshooting issues, communicating with Superintendent and Project Manager about projects they are assigned to, identifying needs for the following work day, keep being Field Crew Members busy and ensuring that project stays on timeline, completing daily logs at the end of each day including photos and description of tasks accomplished. A Skilled Carpenter may also be required to be in communication with subcontractors and/or clients while on site. Requirements: - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - Must have earned a minimum High School Diploma or GED. - Must be able to pass a background check. - Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Install new equipment for rollouts of new menu items. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) 1. Installation and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment, HVAC unit, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems and shelving according to action plan and quality standards. Balancing of HVAC systems, fryer hood, and dishwasher hood. 2. Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership. 3. Ensure all safety regulations are followed per federal, state, local, and Sheetz requirements. 4. Be able to read, write, and follow instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams. Be able to hammer nails, use power tools, and distinguish colors. 5. Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards. 6. Barcode and document equipment for tracking of warranties, analyzing reliability, maintenance issues, and technical support. 7. Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership. 8. Complete all assigned work in a timely, efficient manner, according to company standards.
