This role involves a mix of hands-on carpentry, basic construction labor, and pest-proofing structures to prevent or repair damage from rodents and other nuisance wildlife. Also looking for candidates with commercial pesticide applicator permits in order to expand our business to include insects. If you have solid carpentry skills, are comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and other tight or elevated spaces, aren't afraid of animals and take pride in high-quality, detail-oriented work — we’d like to meet you. Key Responsibilities: • Perform structural repairs caused by nuisance wildlife. • Install pest exclusion materials such as wire mesh, metal flashing, sealants, and weatherproof barriers. • Identify and seal entry points in homes and commercial buildings. • Assist pest control technicians during exclusion and remediation projects. • Remove and replace contaminated insulation, damaged wood, or other affected materials. • Operate a variety of power and hand tools safely and effectively. • Maintain clean and organized job sites and follow all safety procedures. • Accurately document completed work and communicate findings to supervisors. • Perform pest inspections, treatments and preventative services for residential and commercial clients. Qualifications: • 1–3 years of experience in carpentry, general construction, or a related trade. • Prior experience with pest control or exclusion work is a plus. • Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in various weather conditions. • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid Washington State Pesticide Applicator License -- or willingness to obtain one.
