Lead Carpenter

The Landall Group, LLC is hiring an experienced Construction Lead Carpenter to join our team, who plays an essential role in our organization. It is a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage time wisely, prioritize, and multitask. Lead teams in carpentry, painting, drywall, trim, decks, framing, light roofing, repair, flooring installation, appliance installation, and electrical and plumbing. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and be able to assume a key leadership position within the company. Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are essential. Requirements: • Read & interpret estimates, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications • Delegate job assignments for field crews • Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project • Manage material inventory daily • Install windows, cabinets • Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, windows, doors, and insulation • Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed • Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines • Work independently with minimal supervision • Provide excellent customer service • Responding to change orders • Close out jobs, ensuring that all punch list items have been completed Successful candidate is/has: • Leadership • Self-starter • Organized, detail-oriented • Excellent communicator • Excellent judgment skills • Reliable • Responsible • Professional and tactful • Excellent time management • Reading and interpreting blueprints • Understanding customer requirements • Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc. (problem solve) • Knowledge of building codes and regulations • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA) • Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability • Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • On-the-job training • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
