A Lead Carpenter will have expertise in a variety of carpentry tasks and will lead a team of 1-3 apprentice carpenters in executing projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Include (but are not limited to): - Perform carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and installing wooden structures and framing at an efficient pace. - Assemble and disassemble temporary structures as needed - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction - Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist with jobsite preparation and cleanliness. - Oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish -Ensure all work is completed within reasonable time, and monitor budget requirements by collaborating with Project Manager and Estimator. - Train and mentor junior carpenters. -Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
