What You’ll Do: As our Lead Carpenter, you’ll be the on-site manager and the face of the company on job sites. Lead Carpenter and Project Manager

We are currently looking for another team member for our established construction company based in Olympia. Lifespan Construction specializes in residential remodels including kitchens, baths, additions, decks, and all interior and exterior related upgrades. Lifespan Construction is all about people. Our Lead Carpenters lead their own jobs from start to finish and feel comfortable with the following; • Meeting with the Production Manager and Project Developer prior to all projects for reviewing job documents/drawings, checklists and job schedule. • Ability to organize and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and our clients • Advise subcontractors of proposed schedule and communicate with them throughout the project as needed. • Verify and confirm material lead times and purchases as needed to maintain project schedule. • Attend company and client meetings. • Ability to do framing, millwork, cabinet layout of typical remodeling projects. • Inform the team about the progress of the project, including any customer concerns, problems, delays, etc. • Knowledgeable about safety and building codes of residential construction • Create change orders if something arises outside of the construction contract • Ability to lead other helpers on the project This is just a sampling of what we’re looking for.
