Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations. Duties • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. • Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of trailers • Operate over head cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed. • Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. • Perform rigging tasks as required for lifting heavy materials or components. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred. • Mig and Stick welding • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance. • Experience with machining processes, soldering, plasma cutting, and operating press brake machines is a plus. • Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements.
