We are now hiring for Structural Welders for a company in New Braunfels, TX. These positions are starting ASAP! Pay: up to $27 DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 10 hour 7:00am-5:00pm shifts & possible 8-hour shifts on Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm. MUST have FLUX CORE welding experience. NO PER DIEM or travel pay. Structural Steel Test: • 3G Vertical weld test coupon. • Two carbon steel plates 6” x 12” x 1/2”. • FCAW - Dual shield, flux core process. • Welder will bevel plate. • Open root beveled groove weld. • Root to be ground out and stringer pass made after front side completed. • Stringer bead root and caps no weaving. Duties: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structural components • Measure and mark materials for welding using various tools and equipment • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment • Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and adherence to specifications • Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments • Clean and maintain welding equipment and work area Requirements: • Proven experience as a structural welder • Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding • Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys used in structural welding • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • Strong attention to detail and precision in work • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Welder - Commercial

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 6G Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural components for commercial and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel components according to blueprints and project requirements. • Use a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. • Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently. • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. • Work with a team to complete projects on time and within specifications. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA safety guidelines. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). • Minimum of 5 years of experience in 6G pipe welding. • Certification from AWS (American Welding Society) preferred. • Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal fabrication. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. • Strong attention to detail and quality control. • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to pass background check. Preferred Skills: • Experience with flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). • Knowledge of metallurgy and metalworking processes. • Ability to use hand and power tools for metal fabrication. • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
