Job Requirements and Qualifications: · Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening test. · MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume, and to apply concepts of basic mathematics WITHOUT a calculator. · Ability to pass a weld and fit test. • Must be able to consistently produce clean and accurate welds and pass required welding qualification test(s) using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, Tig, SAW, and Stud welding processes in multiple positions as required and on multiple materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. • Must be able to obtain an AWS welding certification on 1G, 2G, and 3G; certification must be maintained. • Must be able to arc gouge neatly and proficiently. • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance with the ability to work overtime and weekends. • Possesses strong sense of urgency. • Can work independently and/or as a cooperative team player. • Willingly takes direction from supervisory personnel. • Adheres to quality procedures and demonstrates strong safety awareness and prevention. • Employees must provide their own hand tools and rollaway box. • Any combination of training, education, or experience equivalent to American Welding Society (AWS) experience.
