Seasoned Welder/ Fabricator

We are seeking a seasoned Welder/ Fabricator to become an integral part of our team fabricating light structural and architectural projects! Experience with mig and stick welding is required with past structural experience welding to ASME D1.1 a plus. We are looking for a seasoned welder who can move quickly when needed on simpler projects and weld to code on project when needed. Work will consist 80% of the time in an open air shop primarily doing GMAW welding, plasma cutting and grinding and 20% in the field utilizing stick welding, plasma cutting and grinding. Field work is local to the Houston area. 40 hours a week with more at peak work load times as needed. Being at work reliability and on time is a priority as well as attention to detail to produce quality products. Other fabrication skills such as drilling, sawing and past operation of CNC equipment is a plus. Responsibilities: • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products • Install and repair various equipment and components • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance ​Qualifications: • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics • Ability to handle physical workload
