Summary: The Mechanical Drafter is responsible for the preparation, modification, and maintenance of all CAD models, production drawings, and corresponding Bills of Materials in the ERP system. They will work with the Engineers to implement design changes and make updates to product configurations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned. • Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify models and their corresponding drawings. • Utilize EPICOR ERP system to manage Bills of Materials. • Coordinate with Engineers to implement design changes. Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in Drafting and 1-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations. Proficiency in computers is required, particularly in CAD and Microsoft Office-based programs including Excel. Language: Ability to read and write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
