You will work directly with R&D, manufacturing, and support teams to improve the quality and reliability of products and product assembly. Development will include extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, material properties, statistical process control (SPC), performing dimensional analysis, design of experiments (DOE), training technicians and production assemblers. You will also be responsible for maintaining incoming material quality and partnering with suppliers to eliminate material defects. As a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer - Quality, a typical day might include the following: • Serve as a technical advisor to production operations; troubleshoot material, design, and assembly issues. • Plan, design, and implement tests to monitor quality.
