Our hotel maintenance staff perform a wide range of essential tasks, helping to ensure the smooth operations that result in happy customers and Enhancing Lives. Must have a minimum of five (3) years' experience in maintenance work. Routine preventive maintenance comprises a significant percentage of the duties of a hotel maintenance engineer. Responsibilities range from changing HVAC filters to lubricating kitchen equipment to regular boiler maintenance. Hotel maintenance staff are also typically responsible for scheduling regular inspections of electrical equipment and/or elevators as required by state and local law, as well as working with vendors to replace old and install new equipment of all kinds. Hotel maintenance engineers are also responsible for making all kinds of minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC or construction-related repairs throughout the premises. Maintenance often have to refer to blueprints, diagrams and manuals in making repairs, and they also have to arrange for the pick up or delivery of the necessary parts and supplies. See More Details >>SHIFT DETAILS: • 1st shift • 2nd shift • 3rd shift JOB DETAILS: • Day one benefits • On the job training PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative, maintenance, and repairs of large manufacturing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, changing belts machinery as necessary to ensure machines are in optimal working condition • Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines; repair quickly and efficiently to decrease downtime for machine • Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, ordering and installing replacement parts for machines as needed • Prepare reports documenting work performed. • Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies as needed • Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines. • Collaborate with department heads regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required • Make necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required • Identify opportunities for improvement, present to appropriate leader, and implement, lead or participate in solution implementation • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where mandatory helping to promote a zero-accident culture • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • None.
