Fabricator (1st Shift)

We are seeking a Fabricator for our Mandeville, LA facility. About the Role: As a Welder at our manufacturing facility in Louisiana, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and performing quality control checks. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, and ultimately contribute to the success of our company. We have openings on our first and second shifts. First Shift: Monday-Friday 5am-1pm Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment • Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in welding • Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding • Experience with CNC plasma cutting • Experience with metal forming and bending • Experience with welding stainless steel and aluminum Responsibilities: • Performing welding and fabrication of metal components according to blueprints and schematics • Operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools • Performing quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications • Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Skills: As a Welder, you will utilize your expertise in welding and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality metal components. You will need to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Your skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, CNC plasma cutting, and metal forming and bending will be utilized on a daily basis. Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer for mechanical/process engineering design in our Mandeville, LA office. Specific responsibilities will vary from project to project and include process design of thermal, membrane, and ion exchange systems; thermal and physical design of heat exchangers, evaporators, and condensers; structural design of skids and frames; and selection of pumps, valves, and other related system components. Qualifications: • BSME, BSChemE with 2+ years of applicable experience. • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, etc. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Electrical and Controls Engineer

MECO is seeking an Automation Engineer/Specialist based in the Mandeville, LA location. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Automation and Controls or have an interest in this field. Responsibilities: • Design control systems for skid-based water purification equipment • Design control systems for large multi-level water treatment plants • Integrate new and existing MECO equipment into end-user control systems • Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) utilizing Rockwell Automation’s Studio 5000 and Siemen’s TIA Portal • Program OITs (Operator Interface Terminal) utilizing Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk View ME & SE and Siemens WinCC Advanced or WinCC Unified • Create Automation validation documentation packages for projects in pharmaceutical environments • Identify priorities and manage time to accomplish assigned tasks. • Ensure that schedules and deadlines are met. • Coordinate communication across interdepartmental teams and external end-users. • Occasional travel to end-user’s site. Typically, <20% per year. Requirements: • 2-4 years of Automation, Systems, or Industrial Manufacturing experience • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a field closely aligned with Automation or 3-5 years of direct Automation and Controls experience • Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, general overall PC knowledge and troubleshooting) • Experienced with basic hand tools Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with industrial networking, servers, virtual machines, etc. • Experience with VBA, Python, C#, XML, SQL, etc.
