Second shift is Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm. The Foreman will be responsible for the performance of his/her department or team through the management of tasks, supervision, direction setting and motivation of workforce. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) • Ensure that local HSE procedures and requirements are met at the department or team level • Take the necessary steps to achieve HSE goals • Ensure that everyone is aware of their HSE roles and responsibilities within the team and provide leadership on the subject. • Ensure that the principle of "safety first" is practiced (this principle applies to employees, visitors, suppliers and contractors). Quality • Ensure production team is fully trained and adheres to quality policies and procedures and each team member understands product quality standards and their role in achieving it. • Lead the use of quality principles to quickly resolve quality deviations. Ensure that corrective measures are put in place and follow up. • Distribution • Ensure that department team resources are sufficient for workload and assign daily responsibilities to meet work order schedules. • Communicate daily with planning to provide updated status on meeting work order budget and schedule. Production • Be responsible for the SQDICP (Safety, Quality, Distribution, Stocks, Cost and People) in the Department • Lead the team in defining the standards to be applied in the department. Correct any discrepancies and identify areas of improvement. • Manage the control of work order budgets and labor charging. • Ensure that the tools and principles of the department are followed. Train production personnel in proper equipment operation. • Lead department / team daily action meetings (DAM) • Always work to meet internal and external customer expectations. • Assume accountability and responsibility for the condition of machines in the department • Support the 5S program implementation and lead by example. Leadership • Lead, manage, and performance-manage the team of production personnel (time approval, annual reviews, Employee Motivation Survey/annual motivation survey, etc.) and provide constructive feedback necessary for the team to perform their work effectively. • Foster an atmosphere of trust and openness within their scope of responsibility. • Cultivate strong collaboration within the department. • Train and develop members to meet expected objectives and follow processes and standards. • Develop team members skills and capabilities • Support and lead the implementation of Grundfos' policies and initiatives within their scope of control • Re-enforce the production personnel understanding of Water Treatment's strategy and support actions stemming from it. • Participate and/or contribute to any relevant projects for the smooth functioning of the company / division. Minimum Qualifications: • Experience driving execution of processes preferably within Production. • Ability to lead a department, processes or project. • Ability to lead a group and/or business process within Production. • Strong knowledge of applicable production best practices and relevant systems. • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft office applications. • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
