The responsibilities of a Materials Handler at MECO will include: • Loading and unloading trucks both manually and with pallet jacks and/or forklifts • Verifying received items against orders to insure accuracy • Accurately label and place stock in designated locations • Picking required parts for delivery to the manufacturing units. • Perform all duties in a safe manner and according to establish procedures The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: • HS diploma or GED • Two or more years of experience working in an industrial storeroom • Prior experience in receiving, picking and material movement • Must be eligible to be certified to drive a fork-lift • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which include ability to left up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
