Responsible for supporting a department to provide a reliable, stable, and sustainable process as it relates to machinery, gauging, quality, tooling, capacity, and documentation, etc. Support new product launch team which is responsible for designing Manufactuing plans including operator work content, machine capability, quality checks, and information flow. Supports capacity planning and capital forecasting Helps determine parts, tools, and gauging needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Supports in the decision making of machine builders through site visits, demonstrated capability, and financial factors for the purpose of purchasing new equipment Support quoting, developing, and qualifying the machine at the machine builder. Support with machine installation, runoff, and handoff to production once onsite Support production with new and existing equipment. This includes equipment modifications for safety, efficiency, capability, and continuous improvement Support the core team in achieving the departmental KPIs Daily support of production and maintenance due to machine downtime through troubleshooting and problem-solving different machine systems: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic Pneumatic Coolant Respond to downtime due to tooling issues through troubleshooting and problem solving. Work with the engineers and tooling vendors to provide the properly designed tooling in the department.
