Mechanic Technician

Purpose: Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians. Responsibilities: • Performs basic diagnostics and reports on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products. • Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge. • Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and Competitive products. • Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment. • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments • Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties. • All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience • 1+ years of experience performing service repairs • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes • Proficient oral and written communication skills • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly • Basic Service Technician certification preferred • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred • Valid driver’s license is required • Fork lift license preferred Ag-Pro provides a comprehensive range of benefits for all full-time positions that includes medical, dental, vision and a matching 401-K retirement plan along with a variety of other optional benefits. Plant Mechanic

This position is in Bainbridge, Georgia. Summary/Objective: Under broad supervision, maintains all mechanical parts of the assigned machines in a safe operating condition including lubricating equipment as scheduled. maintains processing conditions to ensure all units operate at maximum quality and quantity to operate assigned machines, as required. Provides service in the shipping and receiving of goods, inventory control, warehouse processes and procedures. Responsible for ensuring all orders are handled and shipped according to customer requirements. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Assists other departments in moving materials, as needed. 2. Performs all maintenance on all parts of the assigned equipment; examples of assigned equipment include Bracket, Prong, Creaser, etc. 3. Operates assigned machines as required. 4. Operates powered industrial vehicles, such as lift trucks, as needed. 5. Patrols machines and watches for trouble areas. Corrects any problems found. 6. Responds promptly to all appropriate calls. 7. Ensures that all machines are running to maintain the highest level of production with the least amount of waste. 8. Lubricates all equipment as scheduled. 9. Applies paint with spray gun, airless sprayer, roller and brush to various metal plastic and wood parts and have ability to spray liquid texture. 10. Responsible for all preparation, paint and cleanup of assigned work projects coupled with drywall repair, caulking and primer painting to complete tasks in a productive manner. 11. Handles changeovers and setups, involving changes to machines and fixtures. 12. Responsible for area housekeeping. Ensures work area stays clean, especially after working on equipment. 13. Assists in installation of new equipment. 14. Performs preventive maintenance, as assigned. 15. Notifies Department Manager of any problems in a timely manner consistent with severity of problem. 16. Complete all required reports. 17. Performs all job duties using safe work methods. Working Conditions: Incumbents working in this job perform duties in an office setting. This is a 40-hour workweek requirement. The position may involve managing a high-volume workload and demands a high level of accuracy while working with deadlines. Job Title Technical Process Engineer Position Overview Shaw Industries is looking for a Technical Process Engineer that will provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing operations for the production of color concentrates and synthetic turf yarns.
