Skilled Construction Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing manual labor tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the safe and efficient progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience working on construction sites. Prior knowledge of tools, materials, and construction processes is highly valued to contribute effectively to our projects. Responsibilities • Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment. • Support carpentry, roofing, masonry, concrete finishing, framing, drywall installation, and other trades as needed. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision. • Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions for various tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, stucco application, and tile laying. • Assist with heavy equipment operation when trained and certified. • Perform demolition work or removal of old structures as required. • Support concrete forming, plastering, caulking, restoration, and hardscape projects. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site. • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Skills • Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics related to construction projects. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. • Knowledge of various construction trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), concrete work, masonry block work. • Familiarity with construction management practices such as estimating and inspection is a plus. • Ability to interpret technical drawings for tasks like concrete forming or stucco application. • Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods. • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship. Responsible for performing a wide range of tasks on construction projects which requires worker to have an extensive experience level and ability to perform many different tasks during all stages of construction.
