Job Summary The Greaser position requires you under general supervision to maintain equipment, apply proper lubrication to equipment and ensure that any potential safety issues or necessary repairs are brought to the attention of supervising staff. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities: • Follow instructions from supervising staff. • Follow all safety protocols when operating a variety of tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. • Maintain and grease equipment and ensure all moving parts of machinery are properly lubricated. • Ensure safety by notifying supervising staff of any safety issues or necessary repairs. • Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly. • Clean up the worksite when the project is complete. Desired Qualifications: • Must be 21 years of age or older. • High school diploma/GED preferred. • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds. • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team • Work is performed in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, head & humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. • Out of town travel and/or overtime is a possibility. • English and Spanish fluency a plus, not required.
