We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Specialist to join our real estate development company. This role requires, strong legal expertise, and the ability to handle complex documentation and compliance tasks. A degree in law and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are mandatory. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and manage legal documentation, including contracts and permits, related to commercial real estate development. • Coordinate permit submission, pre development approvals, and obtaining approvals from local building departments. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Communicate effectively with government agencies, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. • Maintain organized and accurate records of legal documents. • Provide internal legal advice and support to the management team. • Assist with negotiations and resolve legal issues related to ongoing projects. • Ability to interact with building departments and go there as needed in order to pull permits. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or higher in law (mandatory). • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the legal field, preferably in real estate, corporate law, or compliance. • Fluent proficiency in two spoken languages (preferred). • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
