The Profiling Machine Operator position is responsible for efficiently operating the CNC machine in order to attain the required precision cuts for each fabrication job. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Set up and monitor CNC Machines • Ensure the correct material is loaded and programmed • Confirm material lines up with laser for vacuum system to shape and polish edges • Ensure tooling is correct for edges and computer matches tooling • Check product placement and CAD plans to ensure that seams and design is correct for sink cuts and profiled edges. • Observe operation of equipment assigned to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation • Clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each day • Coordinate repairs of equipment as needed. Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures, and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness/readiness • Track and update job status in SPS Tracking System • Assist with daily operations and maintenance of all areas of production • Safe operations of material movement including cranes w/suctions and clamp attachments • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality • Scan barcodes before starting and after completing of processes • Pre-inspect materials before processing and double check material • Pull measurements for accuracy • Perform other duties as assigned by management Work Environment This position will work in an indoor production environment around large machinery, overhead cranes, and power tools. There may be areas with wet floors. The production environment involves a consistently high level of noise. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; push; pull; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Individuals must have the ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs on a regular basis.
