Part-Time Machining Team Member - 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)

Starting Rate: $20.13/hour Shift Differential: $4.35/hour POSITION SUMMARY Safely and efficiently manufacture quality parts using automated equipment and machines, in order to ensure the highest quality components for our products. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA. • Identify parts, lift metal stock or work pieces manually or using hoists, and position and secure them in machines, using fasteners and hand tools. • Operate, monitor and maintain equipment used in the production process as required. • Align and secure jigs, fixtures, tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet specifications as required. • Communicate any production needs or issues to the appropriate personnel. • Perform minor assembly using power tools and hand tools. • Remove and replace tooling as required. • Measure and calculate dimensions and tolerances of work pieces using mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and/or fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications. • Follow related documentation to verify all processes to ensure safety and quality. • Record production through appropriate documentation, marking and tagging procedures as required. • Performs job duties in a safe and appropriate manner as well as follows all work and safety rules including any specialized safety and health training. • Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
