CNC Machinist - Monroe, MI Our client, global leader in the design and manufacture of fluid machinery solutions, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling and turning machines to produce custom and stock parts. Interpret blueprints, set up tooling, run programs, and inspect finished components. Requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Monroe, MI Pay: $27-$30/hour Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday 2nd shift: 7pm to 7am What’s the Job? • Run a Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) • Proficient with interpreting CNC programs (G and M code, Mazatrol preferred) program languages • Run a 5-axis CNC Machine • Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirements. • Selects, aligns, and secures existing holding fixtures for efficient set ups. Qualifications The ideal candidate will: · Have 5+ years of machining experience · Be confident and capable in their machining skills on at least a mill or lathe.
