CNC Laser Operator

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Technician experienced with TRUMPF laser machines to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining TRUMPF laser cutting equipment to ensure precision cutting of metal components according to production specifications. A strong mechanical aptitude, quality mindset, and familiarity with reading blueprints are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate TRUMPF laser machines (e.g., TruLaser, TruPunch) to cut, etch, or engrave metal components • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and operation • Adjust machine settings for material type, thickness, and part design • Inspect finished parts for conformance to quality standards using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) • Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on TRUMPF lasers and related equipment • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and quality protocols • Document production activity, issues, and downtime accurately • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize laser programs and improve part quality and cycle times Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating TRUMPF laser equipment • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, tolerances, and metal types • Strong attention to detail and quality control • Basic computer skills; experience with TRUMPF software a plus • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 8 hour shift • Evening shift • Monday to Friday • Night shift • Overnight shift • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person

Skilled Trade - Machining Specialist - Dearborn

Job Description Machining Specialist are paid a top hourly base rate of $44.155, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $43.955with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment. Experience with 3, 4 &5 axis machining centers; Fadal, HAAS, Mazak & GROBB preferably. Experience with AUTOCAD, MASTERCAM, ability to edit CNC programs and competence/experience reading blue prints, and other component files required. Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen and physical are required. Drug panel does not include THC.
