Job Description To work with management on organizing, repairing and inventorying machine tooling and related parts. The individual will also organize and perform preventive maintenance on forming tools and perform tool trouble-shooting. Duties Monitoring machine tooling and making corrections when necessary. Work on continuous tool improvement, problem solving and trouble-shooting Will be responsible for machine tooling; making certain it is ready for production when needed. This will include all associated hardware, hoses, bolts, plugs, inserts, etc. Assist wherever needed to minimize down-time. Will work with scheduling to prepare for upcoming production order requirements. Comply with all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, Food Safety, etc. Job Requirements Must have good decision making, leadership, and problem solving skills with the ability to drive to the root cause and develop sound countermeasures. Possesses a high degree of safety awareness. Willing to work with Production personnel to set work priorities and determine the proper course of action relative to production equipment schedules. Previous tool and die experience preferred. May be required to take additional training as requested by management from internal or external sources. The ability to use Word, Excel and e-mail functions is preferred. Knowledge Requirements Prefer an Associates degree in Applied Science or equivalent job experience related to the tool and die field.
