Machine Operator

Primary and Specific Functions - The functions performed in order to fulfill the purpose of the position. • Responsible for loading raw casting parts on entrance conveyors on assigned production line • Responsible to achieve production rate on quality • Responsible to check all part measurements while appropriately using assigned measuring equipment on time and as required to the production parts indicated on the control plan and tooling charts. • Responsible to make all the offset adjustments necessaries to control the process on the established dimensions • Responsible to change inserts according to the Tooling Charts and/or CNC programmed tool life. • Responsible for unloading finished good parts from end of the line, place those on the appropriate dunnage according to the specific packaging instruction for each part number and place the identification label. • Responsible to start up the robot after every fault and insert change. • Responsible to do all the maintenance activities described on the daily operator check sheet • Responsible for ensuring housekeeping functions in work area are performed, including but not limited to: ensuring no trip hazards, organization, cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping • Be aware of all significant impacts, actual or potential, of his/her work activities and the consequences of not following specified operating procedures • Participate as requested in needs analysis, attend, and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for his/her position • Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or assigned by supervisor Company DescriptionManufacturing Facility
